There will be a lot of changes coming up in the future for Faith Home Ministries. There is much behind the scenes work involved to further Faith Home Ministries to reach more people in more homes. In the meantime, there will be a lot of silence as we work hard figuring out logistics, business plan, policies set in motion, etc. Anyone interested in joining the Board of Directors, helping effect change with policies, or promoting the ministry to bring in more donations to provide more opportunities please contact me. Cheryl Shive, Director of Faith Home Ministires, has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Master of Science in Psychology, and Master of Social Work degree with a certified Mental Health Specialization. She is passionate about providing mentoring, safety, security, and a future and hope for disadvantaged youth.
About Us
What we do
Faith Home Ministries was established to enable various ministries in our home; teenagers, siblings, transitional youth and foster children. We have created a blog for those that would like to follow our progress, find out our current needs and see more up-to-date pictures.

The foster children ministry includes taking in young children, especially sibling groups, and teenagers that are in a crisis situation. We strive to make the relationship with bio-parents as positive as possible and work with them to be there for their children.

Our history
We started in a small home as husband and wife with a foster child and pregnant with a biological child. Social services kept asking us if we had room for more children and we realized the need to expand the house with more beds and bathrooms to accomodate siblings as well as to provide a home for teenagers as well as younger children.

Faith Home Ministries is a 501(c)3 charitable, tax-exempt, non-profit organization. Our mission is to help disadvantaged women and children become self-sufficient, gain a positive self-esteem, and learn healthy and productive lifestyles and relationships. Faith Home Ministries provides hope, unconditional love, and mentoring to children and women in need of the love and support of a family. We provide a forever family to children old enough to ask us to be a part of their family; wanting a place to call home after they go away to college.
